I laughed out loud when I saw this on my yahoo homepage. I remember being something like 6-7 and watching the short-lived New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) cartoon which I think I liked. It was one of those awful cartoons like Jem (anyone remember that? About Erica who turned into Jem-the Misfits-Show time Synergy!-The Holograms-Truly Outrageous!-The very politically correct Aja, Kimberly, Raya, and Shana and of course the whole Rio vs. Riot shenanigan?) I admit I along with many of my peers were obsessed with this cartoon despite its evident dodginess at times! Likewise NKOTB was one of those Saturday morning or Thursday evening cartoons which I recall watching. (not as obsessively as Jem and My Little Pony or Carebears and Pound Puppies!) The Band I believe was an 80’s phenomenon (well before my time) but of course the cartoon was a 90’s thing- wasn’t very popular- but gave me insight into their um… “music” if you could call it that but hey boy bands were all the rage back in the day- and I who can barely hold a tune, am in no position to criticize their singing 
Reminded me of simpler times though, this NKOTB comeback and well thought I’d share some obligatory cheese considering the subject. Good times… Growing up in the 90’s that is
