Doorways

This was a little hidden stretch of sand at the bottom of a crumbling old staircase leading down from the Galle lighthouse, which evidently turned out to be unexpectedly busy with bathers and picnicking! But then I’m not a local and just thought it was actually unknown!

Crash

The waves crashing against the side of the old fort walls as it has for many centuries, was almost poetic and oddly significant telling of the toll of time.

Harmony

Someone told me a while back that this was an old Dutch church which had been converted into a Mosque. I’m not sure how accurate it is but glistening white in the bright afternoon sun- it was simply in harmony with the world.
